59th Annual Pet Show this Sunday at CNH!

Leash up your pet, grab a lawn chair or blanket and join us on the lawn of Coliseum Northside Hospital for a day of fun for the whole family (even the furry ones!)

educationThe Museum of Arts and Sciences’ (MAS) Museum Guild, along with Coliseum Northside Hospital and Central Georgia C.A.R.E.S., would like to invite you to the 59th Annual Pet Show this Sunday, April 26, from 2 to 5 pm on the lawn at Coliseum Northside Hospital. And the best part is: it’s FREE to the public, and attendees receive a FREE (adorable) gift!

The Pet Show is the longest running event in the Museum’s history and is sponsored by The Museum Guild. While there is no charge to attend the event, guests may pay to enter their petlittle girl with kitten in the pet show contest.  Pet registration starts at 2 p.m. and pet judging begins at 3 p.m. The contest is $2 per pet registered. Children can show off their pets in categories including Best Dressed, Best Behaved, Cutest Walk, and Most Unique. Winners from the different categories will then compete for the “Best in Show” title.

This year’s Pet Show event will include a pet show with judging and prizes, games, refreshments, face painting and53e191a2d14f5.preview-620 crafts, low cost vaccinations by Central Georgia C.A.R.E.S., and so much more. Families will also enjoy pony rides provided by Harts Petuary, miniature horses, and meeting many other pet vendors from the Central Georgia area!

Not to mention, the GA Irish Frisbee Dogs will also be making an appearance at the event! This team has been wowing audiences since 2005 with their beautiful and talented border collies. There will be performances by this amazing Frisbee dog team at 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
