Steve’s Weekly Wrap-Up (June 3, 2016)

ThankYou_168813029-e1401908709439We ended May with another strong month of growth at our hospital. Admissions were up 21.4%, Inpatient Surgery up 50%, Outpatient surgery down 10%  and ED volume up 16.2%. I continue to receive positive feedback from the community and our physicians about the care provided here. We have to continue to earn that every day with great clinical care and customer service. Thanks for another great month!

IMG_0892IMG_0881The Annual EMS for Children picnic was held this week on our campus with a great turnout by both EMS Services and kids. I saw several of you with your kids participating in the fun. Thanks to Liana for coordinating and Randy for security and restrooms. It was a great event with great exposure for our hospital thanks to Jennifer Jones and the WMAZ live remote.

88We completed our Employee Survey with almost 88% participation! Thanks for taking the survey and congratulations to our grand prize winners, Lisa Brown and Barbara Watkins! Our Human Resource team will be putting together a plan for us to review the results near the end of June or early July.

Facebook Message ImageWhat is MyHealthOne? It’s our secure, personalized online environment that connects patients and caregivers to helpful tools and personal health records through local facility websites. MyHealthOne represents a significant transformation of our existing MEDITECH patient portal, and will create an industry-leading digital experience for patients with enhanced functionality and a user interface that’s simple and visually appealing. What will change? For patients, we will change the name of the MEDITECH patient portal to MyHealthOne. Only the patient experience will change; there is no change to how clinicians view and enter information.  Find A Doctor, Make An Appointment, and Classes and Events will now be together on MyHealthOne, along with clinical information.  Redesigned screens will create a more user-friendly experience and users will now create a profile, which lets them view a personalized history and health information. Go live date:  June 22!
