Nearly 800 students received higher education scholarships totaling $2.9 million through the HCA Healthcare Scholars Program for the 2019-2020 academic year. At least one of our staff’s children was awarded one of these scholarships this year!
The HCA Healthcare Scholars Program, established and funded by The HCA Foundation to support dependents of HCA Healthcare colleagues in pursuing post-secondary education, offers scholarships of up to $5,000 for higher education expenses. Awards are based on a combination of merit and financial need.
The next application process begins in January 2020. To apply, students will need their HCA Healthcare employed parent’s HCA 3-4 ID and facility name. Scholarship America, Inc., a nonprofit whose mission is to mobilize communities through scholarships, administers the HCA Healthcare Scholars Program.
